Cap End

Cap ends for galvanised spiral ducting, available in all 24 diameters from 80mm to 1000mm — every size up to 500mm stocked except 280mm, which is made to order. A cap end is the simplest fitting in the range and one of the most used: it blanks off the end of a duct cleanly and airtight, whether that end is permanent or just waiting for the next phase of the installation.

Where cap ends are used

Cap the end of a main extraction run beyond the last branch — dust extraction manifolds in particular are designed with a capped end that can be opened for cleaning. Blank off spare branches installed for future machines, or close redundant duct legs after alterations. Fitted with screws and sealant, a cap end holds system pressure like any other joint; left dry, it stays removable.
