Tapes

The right tape finishes a duct installation properly. We stock the two tapes every ventilation job calls for:

• Foil duct tape — in 2 inch and 4 inch widths. The aluminium foil facing suits ductwork and insulation work: sealing joints, finishing duct wrap overlaps and covering fixings with a clean metallic finish.
• Gasket tape — for creating a seal between flanged joints and mating surfaces before they are bolted up, giving a better joint on rectangular duct and plant connections.

For belt-and-braces airtightness, run a bead of duct sealant in socket joints before taping. Both tapes are stocked in our Leicester warehouse — order by 3pm for next-day delivery, and UK mainland delivery is free on orders over £400 ex VAT.
