QF Accessories

QF accessories finish and protect a Nordfab QuickFit extraction system: terminations for open duct ends, cowls for discharge to atmosphere, silencers to cut fan noise, spark traps and drop out boxes to protect filters, and articulating joints for awkward geometry. Everything here shares the QuickFit rolled-end connection, joining any same-diameter QF component with a Quick Clip — no tools, and removable whenever the system changes.

What’s in this range

• End caps (80–28 inch) and mesh end caps (80–28 inch) — blank off or ventilate open duct ends.
• Weather cowls (100–20 inch) and jet cowls (100–28 inch) — terminate discharge duct outdoors.
• Silencers with baffle (300–28 inch) and without baffle (100–28 inch) — attenuate fan and airflow noise in the line.
• Inline spark traps (100–28 inch) — help protect downstream filters from sparks in the airstream.
• Drop out boxes (160–28 inch) — let heavier material fall out of the airstream before it reaches the filter.
• Ball joints (100–12 inch) — swivelling connections for duct runs that need to articulate.

Fitting and sizing
