Threaded Rod and Fittings
Threaded rod (studding) is how ductwork gets hung: drop rods from the soffit or from slotted channel, and suspend the duct on rings below. We stock the rod and every fitting that goes with it, in the M8 and M10 sizes ventilation work uses.
- Threaded rod, 3m lengths — M8 and M10
- Rod connectors — M8 and M10, for joining lengths to make longer drops
- Rod cap ends — M8 and M10 in boxes of 100, to make cut rod ends safe
- M10 purlin clips and beam clamps — fix rod to structural steel without drilling
- Connectors, angle brackets and flat plates — 2-hole 90°, 2-hole 45° and 4-hole options
- Flexi-feet c/w strut — 10 inch to 40 inch, for flat-roof support
Finish the fix with nuts, penny washers and set screws and hang the duct on split rings or suspension rings. Order by 3pm for next-day delivery on stocked items — free UK mainland delivery over £400 ex VAT.
