QF Bends

Nordfab QF bends change the direction of a QuickFit extraction run while keeping airflow resistance — and dust drop-out — to a minimum. All bends are galvanised steel with rolled QuickFit ends: clip them straight onto QF straight duct or any other QF fitting with a Quick Clip, no tools required.

Angles and sizes

Five angles are available, each in its own category:

• 15° bends — gentle direction changes and offsets
• 30° bends
• 45° bends
• 60° bends
• 90° bends — full right-angle turns

Combining angles (for example two 45s instead of one 90) lets you ease a run around obstacles with less pressure loss.

Pressed and segmented bends

Smaller diameters — 80mm to 250mm — are smooth pressed bends. Larger diameters are segmented (lobster-back) bends, available from 350mm to 710mm at every angle, plus a 300mm segmented bend at 90°. For 90° segmented bends from 350mm upwards you can also choose the bend radius: a tighter 1D radius where space is limited, or a sweeping 1.5D radius for better airflow.

All QF bends carry the same diameters as the rest of the QuickFit range, so a 160mm bend clips directly to 160mm duct, reducers and dampers. Typical lead time is 5-7 working days, shown on each product page.
