Insulated aluminium foil flexible ducting in 10m lengths, stocked in 16 diameters from 3 inch to 20 inch. The insulation wrapped around the foil core keeps warm, moist air above dew point as it passes through unheated spaces — which is exactly what stops condensation forming inside extract ducts and dripping back through ceiling fans.

Why insulated flex?

Any duct carrying bathroom, kitchen or utility extract through a cold loft is a condensation risk: warm humid air meets a cold duct wall and water forms. Insulated foil flex is the straightforward cure, and it does double duty on supply systems by reducing heat loss between an MVHR unit or heater and the room. Use it too on cold supply runs through warm spaces, where the same physics works in reverse.

Each 10m length cuts easily to size, and the diameter range — 80, 100, 125, 150, 160, 180, 200, 224, 250, 280, 300, 315, 355, 400, 450 and 20 inch — matches fans, spiral duct and grille boxes directly.
