QF Adaptors

QF adaptors are the fittings that connect Nordfab QuickFit ducting to everything that isn’t QuickFit — flanged machine spigots, flexible hose, plain spiral duct and general ventilation systems. One end carries the rolled QuickFit lip that takes a Quick Clip; the other end is shaped for whatever you’re joining to. All are galvanised steel.

Adaptor types

• Flange adapters — QF to a flat flange, for bolting to machinery and flanged ductwork (80–28 inch).
• Hose adapters — a plain tail for connecting flexible extraction hose (80–28 inch).
• Nipple adapters (QF to FB) — join QuickFit to FB-type duct (80–25 inch).
• Rivet adapters — a plain end for riveting to existing ductwork (80–28 inch).
• Smooth adapters — a smooth slip end for sleeving into plain duct (80–28 inch).
• Ventilation adaptors — connect QF to standard ventilation ducting (80–28 inch).
• Machine expanded adapters — a 5 inch expanded end that fits over a machine outlet (80–12 inch).

Getting the size right

Match the QF end to your QuickFit duct diameter — the full 3 inch to 28 inch range is covered across the adaptor types. If the connection also needs a change of diameter, fit a QF reducer before the adaptor. Typical lead time is 7-10 working days, shown on each product page.
