High Temperature Fans

High temperature fans are built so the motor sits outside the hot airstream, letting them move air at temperatures that would destroy a standard fan motor. They are the right specification for commercial kitchen extract, process ventilation and any duty where the air itself runs hot, greasy or contaminated.

Which high temperature fan do I need?

  • Qube SQUHT — a double-skinned, insulated multi-discharge centrifugal box fan rated to 120°C airstream temperature, in case sizes from 500mm to 1020mm with IE6 EC or AC motors. The go-to for ducted kitchen and high-temperature extract where noise matters.
  • Slim Qube SSQUHT — the slim-line version of the same 120°C platform, for installations where depth is restricted, with three-phase IP55 motors suitable for VFD control.

Two related ranges live elsewhere in our fan catalogue: the Elta Biflow SB bifurcated axial fan handles airstream temperatures up to +200°C by splitting the airflow around a sealed motor chamber, and the Clearflow CFHT is a roof-mounted centrifugal fan rated to 120°C for grease-laden or contaminated vertical discharge.

All are genuine Elta units with technical datasheets and installation guides on each product’s Downloads tab. Alpha Air is a Leicester-based UK supplier — lead times are shown on every product, and orders over £400 ex VAT qualify for free UK mainland delivery.
