Access Door

Access doors for round spiral ducting, stocked in 14 duct sizes from 100mm to 500mm. An access door gives you a re-sealable opening into the ductwork — essential for inspection, cleaning and maintenance, and a requirement on many commercial systems where kitchen extract and ventilation duct must be cleanable along its length.

Why fit duct access doors?

Grease in kitchen extract, dust in extraction systems and general debris in long ventilation runs all have to be dealt with eventually. Access doors placed at intervals — and at key points such as either side of dampers, at bends and near equipment — mean the system can be inspected and cleaned without cutting the duct open. Fitting them at installation is a fraction of the cost of retrofitting once the system is in service, and duct-cleaning specifications commonly call for access at regular intervals for exactly this reason.

Available for duct diameters 100, 125, 150, 160, 180, 200, 224, 250, 300, 315, 355, 400, 450 and 500mm, matching our galvanised spiral ducting. Stocked sizes ordered by 3pm are despatched for next-day delivery, with free UK mainland delivery over £400 ex VAT.
