Cap End with Mesh

Mesh cap ends for galvanised spiral ducting, available in 22 diameters from 80mm to 800mm — every size up to 500mm stocked except 280mm, which is made to order. Shaped like a standard cap end but with a meshed face, this terminal closes the end of a duct while letting air pass — keeping birds, rodents and debris out of open intakes and discharges.

A simple screened terminal

Use a cap end with mesh wherever a duct terminates flush and just needs screening: air intakes drawing from a plant room or roof void, extract discharges into open spaces, and relief openings on plenums. It is the most compact screened termination we sell — where the opening faces the weather, step up to a bird beak with mesh, which angles the face downwards to shed rain, or a weather hat on vertical stacks.
