Nordfab QuickFit Duct
Nordfab QuickFit (QF) is the clip-together ducting system that installs in a fraction of the time of traditional spiral duct — no welding, no flanges, just push the parts together and secure them with a QF clip. Alpha Air supplies the Nordfab QuickFit range in depth, with over 12,000 galvanised parts covering diameters from 80mm to 710mm, making us one of the most complete online sources of Nordfab QF duct in the UK.
Why choose Nordfab QuickFit?
QF ducting is the go-to system for dust extraction, fume extraction and industrial ventilation because it is genuinely re-usable: runs can be taken apart, moved and reconfigured as your workshop layout changes. Every joint is made with a QF quick clip, so a duct run that would take days in welded steel goes together in hours. All parts are galvanised steel and sized to match standard extraction diameters.
What’s in the range?
- QF straight duct — galvanised straight lengths in every system diameter.
- QF bends — 15, 30, 45, 60 and 90 degree bends.
- QF branches and cut-ins — the heart of any extraction manifold: standard branches, double branches, tee branches, Y branches and cut-ins, with thousands of diameter combinations. Our on-page size selectors let you dial in main duct, branch and angle and jump straight to the right part.
- QF reducers — step between diameters anywhere in the run.
- QF adaptors — flange, hose, nipple, rivet, smooth, ventilation and machine-expanded adaptors for connecting QF duct to machinery, flex hose and other systems.
- QF dampers — manual and regulating dampers, motorised automatic dampers and diverter valves for controlling extraction branches.
- QF accessories — ball joints, drop-out boxes, end caps, jet cowls, silencers, spark traps and weather cowls to complete the system.
Finding the right part fast
Every product is listed under its Nordfab part number, so you can search by SKU if you are working from a drawing or replacing an existing component. You can also browse by duct diameter — metric or imperial — using the size categories, which is usually the quickest route when you know the system size but not the part number. For branches, where a single fitting can combine three or four different diameters and an angle, the on-page selectors do the combination work for you: choose each dimension from a dropdown and only real, orderable parts are offered — no dead ends, no invalid combinations.
Ordering and delivery
Because QuickFit is a modular system, most projects are ordered as a parts list: straight lengths, a clip for every joint, bends and branches to suit the layout, and adaptors at the machine end. Every part is supplied to order — lead times are shown per product, and UK mainland delivery is free on orders over £400 ex VAT. If you are extending an existing Nordfab installation, matching by part number guarantees the new parts clip straight onto the old.
