Description

Nordfab QuickFit double branch with 315mm main duct, 200mm left branch, 300mm downstream, and 160mm right branch at 30° entry angle, in galvanised. Double branches connect two branch lines to the main duct at a single point — ideal where multiple machines or collection points are located close together.

Both branches enter at 30° for smooth airflow integration into the main duct.

Part of the Nordfab QuickFit range, this fitting uses the patented QF clamp connection system for fast, tool-free installation. Simply position the fitting, slide on a QF clip, and close — no rivets, screws, or sealant required. Frequently Asked Questions

What is Nordfab QuickFit ducting?

Nordfab QuickFit (QF) is a laser-welded galvanised steel ducting system with rolled ends that clamp together using QF clips — no welding, flanges or specialist tools. Joints assemble in seconds and pull apart just as quickly, so systems can be taken down for cleaning or reconfigured as your workshop changes. It’s the leading choice for dust extraction, fume control and woodworking or industrial extract systems.

What sizes does Nordfab QF ducting come in?

We offer 19 metric diameters from 80mm up to 710mm, with the equivalent imperial sizes from 3 inch to 28 inch browsable through the shop-by-size categories. Straight duct is supplied in 1.5m lengths for diameters up to 400mm and 1m lengths for 450mm to 710mm, with 0.3m slip duct available in every size for making up final connections.

How do Nordfab QF clips work?

Each joint uses a QF clip with an EPDM gasket: bring the two rolled ends together, snap the clip around them and the joint is sealed and mechanically secured in one action. Undoing the clip releases the joint just as fast, so inspection, cleaning and layout changes need no tools. You’ll need one clip per joint — clips are sold separately in every diameter from 80mm to 710mm.

Are your part numbers genuine Nordfab references?

Yes — every Nordfab product on our site is listed under its genuine Nordfab part number as the SKU. If you’re working from an existing system drawing, a Nordfab quotation or a parts list, you can paste the part number straight into our site search and go directly to that exact component. That covers the full range: duct, clips, bends, branches, reducers, adaptors, dampers and accessories.

How do I cut Nordfab duct to length and join the cut end?

Cut the straight duct to length on site, then use slip duct over the raw cut end — or a slip duct supplied with clip and O-ring — to bridge into the next rolled-end component. This is the standard QuickFit method for making up odd dimensions between fixed points. If you tell us your run measurements, we can help work out the straight lengths and slip pieces you’ll need.

What fittings are available in the QuickFit system?

The full system: bends in 15, 30, 45, 60 and 90 degrees, branches in standard, double, tee, Y and cut-in patterns, reducers, and adaptors — flange, hose, nipple, rivet, smooth, ventilation and machine-expanded — for connecting QF to machinery, flexible hose or other duct types. There are also manual, regulating and automatic dampers, diverters, silencers, spark traps, drop-out boxes, end caps and weather or jet cowls. Typical lead time is 7-10 working days, shown on each product page.
