QF Reducers

Nordfab QF reducers step a QuickFit duct run from one diameter down to another — from the main trunk line to individual machine drops, or wherever airflow needs concentrating into a smaller bore to keep transport velocity up in a dust extraction system. Each reducer is galvanised steel with rolled QuickFit ends, so both the large and small end clip to matching-diameter components with a Quick Clip — no tools, rivets or sealant.

Sizes available

This is one of the deepest parts of our Nordfab range: 171 size combinations covering every practical step between the QuickFit diameters from 80mm to 710mm (80, 100, 125, 140, 150, 160, 180, 200, 224, 250, 300, 315, 350, 400, 450, 500, 560, 630 and 710mm). Whether you need a single-step 125mm × 100mm reducer on a machine drop or a 710mm × 500mm reduction on a main line, the combination is listed as its own product with its own Nordfab part number.

Choosing the right reducer

Pick the product whose first size matches your larger duct and second size matches the smaller duct; the size selector on each reducer page lets you switch between available combinations without going back to the category. Remember each end joins like any other QF component, so you’ll need one clip per joint in the corresponding diameters.
