Cutting a 45 degree branch into existing duct

Mark and cut the opening in the main duct, sit the saddle over it, fix with self-drilling screws and seal the perimeter — no need to break the run or insert a tee. The saddle presents a standard male branch connection ready for spiral duct or flexible ducting to the machine — or, with a female connector, a 45 degree bend.
