45 Degree T-Piece

45 degree T-pieces for galvanised spiral ducting, available in 12 diameters from 100mm to 355mm. The 45 degree entry brings the branch into the main duct at a sweeping angle rather than a hard right angle, so air joins the main stream with less turbulence, less pressure loss and less noise — a worthwhile upgrade over a 90 degree tee anywhere the branch works hard.

Where to use a 45 degree T-piece

These fittings suit extract systems and dust extraction drops in the small-to-mid diameter range. The angled entry also makes rodding and cleaning easier, since the junction has no dead corner. Available sizes: 100, 125, 150, 160, 180, 200, 224, 250, 280, 300, 315 and 355mm — all matching our spiral duct and connector series.
