Male Connector

Male connectors for galvanised spiral ducting, available in all 24 diameters from 80mm to 1000mm — every size up to 500mm stocked except 280mm, which is made to order. This is the standard coupling of every spiral duct system: each end of the connector slides inside a plain length of duct, joining two 3m sections into a continuous, airtight run.

Building duct runs with male connectors

Allow one male connector for every duct-to-duct joint when you take off quantities — on a long run that is one connector per 3m length, so they are worth ordering generously. Push each duct end fully home over the connector, fix with self-drilling tek screws and seal the joint with duct sealant or foil tape for an installation that holds its pressure. Where two fittings (rather than two ducts) meet, use a female connector instead.

All sizes match our spiral ducting: 80, 100, 125, 150, 160, 180, 200, 224, 250, 280, 300, 315, 355, 400, 450, 500, 560, 600, 630, 710, 762, 800, 900 and 1000mm. Stocked sizes ordered by 3pm are despatched for next-day delivery, and UK mainland delivery is free on orders over £400 ex VAT.
