Female Connector

Female connectors for galvanised spiral ducting, available in all 24 diameters from 80mm to 1000mm — every size up to 500mm stocked except 280mm, which is made to order. A female connector sleeves over the outside of the components it joins — the opposite of the male connector, which slides inside the duct — and is the fitting you need when both parts to be joined already present male ends.

When do I need a female connector?

Most spiral fittings — bends, tees, reducers — are made with male ends sized to slide inside plain duct. Join two such fittings directly to each other and there is nothing for either end to enter: the female connector solves it, sleeving over both ends to complete the joint. It is also useful for repairs and alterations, letting you couple onto an existing male end without cutting new duct. Screw and seal the joint as normal for an airtight finish.

Every size in the spiral series is available: 80, 100, 125, 150, 160, 180, 200, 224, 250, 280, 300, 315, 355, 400, 450, 500, 560, 600, 630, 710, 762, 800, 900 and 1000mm. See also male connectors for duct-to-duct joints. Ordered by 3pm, stocked sizes ship next day.
