Single Blade Damper – 355mm

A simple in-line damper with one pivoting blade inside a short circular casing, used to trim or shut off airflow in a round duct run. It is the most economical way to add basic airflow control to a branch — for finer, more progressive balancing control, consider a multi leaf volume control damper instead.

The range covers circular duct diameters from 80mm up to 400mm, including 100, 125, 150, 160, 180, 200, 224, 250, 280, 300, 315 and 355mm. Choose the damper to match the diameter of the spiral duct it will connect into — it installs in line, in the same way as a standard spiral component of the same size (to join it to another fitting, use a female connector).

Use a single blade damper where you simply need to restrict or close a branch — the single blade is quick to set but relatively coarse at intermediate positions. Where a system needs accurate balancing across several outlets, the multi leaf volume control damper’s opposed-blade action gives finer, more progressive adjustment and holds its setting with a locking spindle.
