Air Extract Valves – Fire Rated

Fire-rated air extract valves combine everyday extract ventilation with built-in fire protection. Made from galvanised steel with a white powder-coated finish, each valve contains an intumescent material that expands in the heat of a fire, closing the valve to help stop fire spreading through the ductwork. The valves are fire rated for 1 hour.

Four sizes are available to suit standard duct diameters: 100mm, 125mm, 150mm and 200mm. They install like a standard air valve in ceilings or walls serving bathrooms, WCs and kitchens, wherever the fire strategy calls for a protected extract point.
