Rectangular Fire Dampers
Our rectangular fire dampers are steel curtain-type (folding blade) dampers, designed to stop the spread of fire through ducts, walls, floors and ceilings and maintain fire compartmentation. A pack of interlocking, ribbed steel blades is held folded open against constant-force springs by a fusible link rated at 72°C; in a fire the link melts and the springs drive the blade pack shut automatically. Operation is fully mechanical — there is no electric actuator to wire or maintain.
Each damper is made to order to your exact width × height in millimetre increments, from 100mm × 100mm up to a maximum single-section size of 1200mm wide × 1000mm high. Enter your dimensions on the product page and the price calculates instantly online — no waiting for a quote. Support cleats are available as an optional extra.

Frame and Material Options
Choose an Angle Frame (AF) or HEVAC frame installation method, in galvanised steel or 430-grade stainless steel — four variants, all sharing the same made-to-measure sizing. The fully welded case uses galvanised mild steel to BS EN 10346 (DX51D + Z275) as standard.
Need smoke control or alarm-signal closure as well? See our motorised fire & smoke dampers. For circular ductwork, our FD-C circular fire dampers cover 100–315mm diameters. Made-to-order lead times are shown on each product page, and UK mainland delivery is free over £400 ex VAT.
