Fire & Smoke Damper – Circular Multi-Blade – AF Frame – Stainless Steel – 230V Actuator – 450mm
This circular multi-blade fire and smoke damper (FSD-TD series, Type C) is a combined fire and smoke control device for circular HVAC ductwork, designed to maintain compartmentation and protect means of escape in the event of fire. Driven by a spring-return electric actuator, the damper responds to a smoke alarm signal for closure at the first trace of smoke and incorporates a thermal fuse as a failsafe backup: the actuator closes the damper automatically on loss of power, or when the fuse reaches its operating temperature of 72°C.
The damper is CE marked complying with BS EN 15650, fire tested to BS EN 1366-2 and classified to BS EN 13501-3, achieving an ES classification (reduced smoke leakage) with ratings up to E120 S depending on the supporting construction — suitable for the protection of escape routes and compliant with Approved Document B.
The multi-blade opposed-action construction carries the damper range up to a full 1000mm diameter, taking over where the single-blade circular damper (100–300mm) leaves off. The casing is available in galvanised steel or 430-grade ferritic stainless steel, with a choice of EASY FIX Angle Frame (AF) or HEVAC Frame (HF) installation method, and a spring-return actuator fitted as standard in your choice of 24V or 230V.

Returns Policy
Six-Week Returns — No Restocking Fees
We want you to buy with confidence. You can return any standard stocked item within six weeks (42 days) of delivery for a full refund — 100% of the item price, no restocking or handling fees. Trade and business customers get exactly the same rights as retail customers. See our Returns Policy for full details.

- Items must be unused and in original packaging
- Custom-made, bespoke or powder-coated items are made to your specification and cannot be returned unless faulty
- Items must be returned with proof of purchase
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty

Faulty Items
If you receive a faulty or damaged item, please let us know as soon as possible — ideally within 48 hours of delivery, so we can claim against the courier on your behalf. We will arrange a free collection and send a replacement or issue a full refund. This does not affect your statutory rights.
